Having a Mission Statement for both your business and your life is one of the most important things you can do for maintaining clarity and focus in a world filled with too much information. There is always plenty to choose from when it comes to networking, marketing and promoting who you are and what you do to the wider community with a view towards earning income to feed your family and pay the bills. We have to make choices about how we use our precious time. Having a Mission Statement for your business and your life is the single most valuable tool (in my opinion) for guiding those sometimes very tough decisions about what to do, when and how you spend your hard earned cash for marketing and promotion of your business. It makes it all very simple. Is this event in line with my Mission Statement? Yes? Then, ok, let's do it. No? Then it's ok to pass this opportunity up on this occasion. When we add a Mission Statement for Life to the mix, it makes the tool all the more powerful. We begin to align all that we do with what we have put down in writing in our Mission Statements. Life suddenly begins to flow and decisions are made almost as quickly as we ask the question.

The workshop will be facilitated by Leta Hamilton, author of "The Way of the Toddler: The Craziness of Modern Motherhood and the Spiritual Lessons I Learned from My Zen Masters in Diapers." She is also the author of a "Mission Statement for Motherhood" (TM) series, which is a collection of Mission Statements written to specific mother/child relationships. When she is not being a mom to her 1, 3 and 5 year old boys, she is helping parents and now the greater small business community focus on the CONTEXT of who they are, what they do and what they want to impart to the wider world. She believes strongly that when we get a grip of the overall "forest" we can more easily manage the "trees."

The event is Free
