HASTA LA VISTA!, 2011, Kinepolis Film Distribution 115 min. Jozef, Phillip and Lars (Tom Audenaert, Robrecht Vanden Thoren and Gilles De Schryver) are united as friends and isolated from their peers for the same reason: The three young men all have special needs. When Phillip hears of a Spanish brothel that caters to people with disabilities, he schemes up a road trip that will get the trio laid and also assert their independence from parental control. Of course their independence still entails a caretaker, which adds to the mix Claude (Isabelle de Hertogh), a gruff, stocky woman who speaks only French. With Claude's help, the three travel from Belgium to Spain in a quest to put an end to their virginity in Geoffrey Enthoven's endlessly pleasing comedy. Winner of the Grand Prize of the Americas Award and the Audience Award at the 2011 Montreal World Film Festival. In Dutch with English subtitles. [35mm]Belgian beer reception to follow the screening.
