Harvest Festival October 9, 2009

Shelton Vineyards will host our forth annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, 2009 on our grounds. The event times are Saturday from 10:00 am- 6:00 pm and Sunday from 12 noon until 6:00 pm. Admission is free and the event will be held rain or shine. During the Harvest Festival, there will be hand crafted items available for purchase by local artisans and pumpkins and locally grown produce also available to purchase. Live bluegrass music, grape stomping, face painting, pumpkin painting (for the children), or the young at heart are a few of the various activities we have planned. We will also feature Hay Rides through the vineyard. Come and check out the antique tractor competition that will be on display.

While enjoying the bluegrass music, feast on delicious food. Food will be available for purchase to enjoy outside on the grounds or you may dine in with us at the restaurant. Inside our winery, there will be wine case specials and selected retail items up to 50% off in our gift shop. Our Wine Club members will have a Member only barrel tasting on Saturday from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, where they will be able to sample the latest vintages hard at work in our barrels. Winery tours and tastings will also be offered throughout the festival at no charge.

During the Harvest Festival, Shelton Vineyards will donate 10% of our proceeds to the Foothills Food Pantry. Representatives of the Foothills Food Pantry will be on site during the festival accepting donations of non-perishable food items.
