Harry Potter Event: Ollivanders July 15, 2005

From 7 to 10 p.m., The Art Store (314 Division Street South) will be transformed into ?Ollivanders, Maker of Fine Wands.? The Art Store will serve chocolate frogs and will feature its own Potions Master and Professor, St. Olaf College chemistry professor Paul Jackson, who will help visitors make special potions. Visitors will be able to try drawing with pastels just like Harry Potter illustrator Mary GrandPré. Children also will be able to send a letter on parchment with a wax seal to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry by ?owl post.? One letter will be randomly chosen to receive a $20 Art Store gift certificate. The store will offer 25% off all wands (paint brushes).
