One of the most important American photographers of the 20th century, Harry Callahan holds particular significance for Chicago, where he made some of his most influential work. This exhibition will present Callahan's key images, focusing on his intuitive and experimental methods. Featuring more than 125 prints and archival materials drawn from the Harry Callahan Archive at the Center for Creative Photography, it will show museum prints as well as unpublished variants, contact sheets, proof prints, and negatives.
