With his trunk of props and costumes, “The Human Movie Trailer,” Harry Basil entertains audiences by spoofing scenes from classic films. Don’t be surprised if you get your 15 minutes of fame during this show. Basil often brings audience members on stage to act as co-stars in such films as Jaws, Titanic, Goodfellas, Scarface and Pretty Woman.

Basil moved to Hollywood from New Jersey and began to build his act at some of the top comedy clubs in the world. He would soon be discovered by comedy legend Rodney Dangerfield after appearing on HBO’S 9th Annual Young Comedians Special. Dangerfield took so much of a liking for Basil’s work that he made him his exclusive opening act for 17 years. Basil has also opened for such acts as The Beach Boys, Chuck Berry, Gloria Estefan, and Frankie Valli. Basil has acted in such films as Peggy Sue Got Married alongside Jim Carrey and Nicolas Cage and the sci-fi cult film The Seventh Sign starring Demi Moore.
