Harley-Davidson Motorcycle July 19, 2010

The NYPD Harley-Davidson Motorcycle was introduced during 1957 and 1958. These motorcycles were silver instead of the traditional red color of the "Indian" Motorcycles. The Harley-Davidson Motorcycles delivered to the NYPD beginning in 1973 were blue and white, the same colors as Radio Cars delivered to the NYPD.
