HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS PLAY ENCORE SHOW AT NATIONWIDE ARENA ON APRIL 15

The legendary Harlem Globetrotters have announced that they are bringing the 2009 “Spinning the Globe” World Tour back for an encore show on Wednesday, April 15 at 7 p.m. The return visit will also include a first-ever, special kid’s ticket offer for just $15. Tickets are on sale now at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office and through Ticketmaster.

Fans will be captivated by the Globetrotters’ basketball wizardry, hilarious antics and fan interaction, all presented by some of the world’s greatest athletes and entertainers, such as the reigning Clown Prince of Basketball, Special K Daley; dribbling sensation Scooter Christensen; the gravity-defying Hi-Lite Bruton; fan favorite Ant Atkinson; ball handling extraordinaire Blenda Rodriguez; and El Gato Melendez, the first Puerto Rican-born player to ever suit up for the Globetrotters.

Now in their 83rd consecutive season of touring the world, the Harlem Globetrotters have played in 120 countries on six continents, entertaining over 128 million fans and crossing barriers between cultures, societies and people from all walks of life. The Globetrotters are one of only six teams to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. In addition to the special kid’s ticket (age 12 and under) for $15, other prices are $24 and $29 along with $53 VIP tickets and a limited number of courtside seats at $118.
