Harishchandragadh - Trekking August 28, 2009

Harishchandragadh via Nalichi Vat - Trekking. Day 1 - Leave Mumbai ar 9 pm or Pune at 10:00 pm (pl carry pack lunch for Sat. noon). Reach Walivare village (base village of Konkan kada). Night stay in village. Day 2 - Wake up at 6:00, Breakfast, Trek start at 7:00 am - Enter the Dragon. There are five small rock climbing patches you have to climb to reach the summit. You will get proper equipments & support to climb those patches. Reach Harishchandragadh cave via Nalichi Vat - expecting time : 7 to 8 pm (depend upon your speed). If you are lucky, you can see gigantic rock wall of famous Konkan Kada. Dinner, Camp fire. Night stay in rock carved caves. Day 3 : Wake up at 7 am. Breakfast, Trek starts at 8 am, Reach Khireshwar 12, Swimming in Dam water, Reach Thidabi village via Malshej Ghat 1:30, Lunch, Rest for 1 hour. Return journey will start at 3:30 pm. Reach Mumbai or Pune at 9 to 9:30 pm. Age limit : Between 14 to 50 years.
