Hard-Shelled Gourd Craft October 23, 2010

Beginners wanting to craft with gourds will find this workshop provides a fun day of exploring this unique form of three dimensional art. Join Jenny Lund, Cantigny Production Manager, and discover how versatile this material is with carving, wood burning, painting and basketry skills. You will learn how to fashion gourds for functional uses as well as pieces of art. Tools will be provided but to help reduce time spent on sharing tools please bring wood burning, Dremel, or other carving tools if you have them.
