Haraway Stampede Rodeo June 19, 2008

Rodeo action begins every night with the posting of the colors and the grand entry at 8 PM. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children, kids 6 and under are always free. Action includes Bull riding, mad cow racing, buffalo racing, the JH Ranch mad calf scramble, money the hard way for men and women, and barrel racing. Tickets are only available at the entrance every night. No passes. Be sure to come at least 1.5 hrs early to get through the gates. The arena is located 3 miles south of the Vian I-40 exit (follow the signs). Be prepared to wait lines have been known to back up about a mile before you even get to the exit (about a 30 minute to 1 hour wait), but the arena workers will do their best to get you through as fast as they can. Come prepared for some of the best rodeo action around!
