Folk-rocker Namoli Brennet has been touring and performing since 2002 when she hit the road with her first CD. 1000-plus shows and 200,000 miles later, her gritty, honest folk has attracted a large and extremely loyal fanbase. She's self-released 9 CDs, including her latest, "We Were Born to Rise", and her poignant, introspective and sometimes hard-hitting music has won praise and accolades from critics and fans alike. She's been dubbed "One of the best folk-rock artists in the country", and Zocalo magazine calls her music "Gorgeous and introspective." Her music has been nominated for numerous OUTmusic awards and is also featured in the film "Out In The Silence" which details the struggle of a gay teen growing up in rural Pennsylvania. Namoli spends 8 to 9 months a year touring and performing, and she's currently working on a live CD with a release date of October 2012.

Berkeley Community Media is a PEG access television station right in the heart of Berkeley, California. Its goal is to strengthen our community through increasing and enhancing communication among its residents. BCM exists to provide Berkeley residents and organizations with the tools and training needed to effectively communicate with one another and with our schools and governmental bodies through the use of television and other electronic media.
