(H)API Hour for Vision New America May 8, 2008

Join hapihour.org at Koji Sake Lounge on 48 S. First Street in downtown San Jose from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. $10 donation requested at the door. Happy hour specials include: 1/2-off appetizers, $5 cocktails, and $3 beers available from 6pm to 9pm.

Our beneficiary for this event is Vision New America, a nonprofit that promotes the civic participation of underrepresented groups through public policy internship programs, educational forums and community events. Guests will be also able to see a preview mock-up of THE BIG A, a new Asian American magazine launching this year (read more here).

hapihour.org brings together supporters of Asian American Pacific Islander communities through happy hours that raise funds for, and awareness of, nonprofit organizations serving AAPIs in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. One hundred percent of all funds raised are donated to the organizations we benefit.
