Handspring Puppet Company: Woyzeck on the Highveld September 27, 2012

South Africa's Handspring Puppet Company (creators of the Tony Award winning 'War Horse') and renowned artist William Kentridge collaborated to create a moving theater work with animated film, live performances, South African-inspired music, and wood puppets. 'Woyzeck on the Highveld' is an adaptation of German writer Georg Buchner's famous, unfinished play of jealousy, murder, and the struggle of a common man against an uncaring society which eventually destroys him.
