Hands-On Knife Skills October 10, 2009

Cooking instructor Betty Kaplan will teach students about the components of a knife, the correct way to hold a knife, honing vs. sharpening, and knife maintenance. Students will learn slicing, chopping and dicing techniques, as well as the process of cutting a whole chicken and deboning the breast meat.
