Handi Quilter Education Event - Schiller's Sewing Circle June 22, 2012

Friday - Morning class, 10am – noon HQ Sweet Sixteen
Learn the HQ Sweet Sixteen basics such as machine maintenance, threads, tensions and pattern application.
Afternoon class, 1pm – 4pm Freehand Continuous Line
Students will learn the value of drawing freehand continuous line designs and that muscle memory is important to successfully apply the designs to the quilt
Morning class, 10am – noon Thread, Needles and Tension
Learn the theory and use of a variety of threads, needles, and tension and their relationship to the HQ Sweet Sixteen.
Afternoon class, 1pm – 4pm Rulers
Discussion and demonstration on how to use the fun HQ Rulers and Templates. Ruler safety and fast continuous curve method will be taught.
