This workshop, presented by The Pikes Peak Ringers, is designed for ringers who want to explore the presentation
aspect of ringing. It will focus on handbells as a visual art form. The Pikes Peak Ringers will take you through a process that will help transform the look
and communication of
your choir. Simple movements, such as stance, picking up and putting
down bells, and toehr more advanced visual movements, can mke the music
look as wonderful as it sounds.

PIKES PEAK RINGERS

The Pikes Peak Ringers is an auditioned community handbell choir. The group was established in 1991 by its director, Kevin McChesney, to provide an outlet for advanced ringrs and to create performances that showcase the instrument of handbells with the highest quality presentation and musicianship. In adition to performances throughout the Pikes Peak region, they have been the featured group at national handbell events. They have made three performance CD's one of which includes the premiere recording and DVD featuring "The Ring of Fire, Concerto for Handbell Choir and orchestra." Thier latest promotion is an instructional DVD on musical presentation, titled "Music in Motion."
