Carrie Jerrell was awarded the 2008 Anthony Hecht Poetry Prize for her collection After the Revival. A three-time Pushcart Prize nominee, she is an assistant professor of English at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, and serves as the poetry editor for Iron Horse Literary Review. Jerrell received her MA from the Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University and her PhD from Texas Tech University.

ALL HAMMER PUBLIC PROGRAMS ARE FREE. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Hammer members receive priority seating, subject to availability. Reservations not accepted, RSVPs not required.
Parking is available under the museum for $3 after 6:00pm.
