Capitol Hill resident Scott Hamilton, 29, is inviting Washingtonians to enjoy the newest taste of Washington, DC, with the grand opening of his restaurant, Hamilton’s Bar & Grill on Friday, December 1, 2006. Located steps from Union Station, this establishment offers customers an upscale, casual environment combined with premium food and beverages.

The introduction of Hamilton’s Bar & Grill to the Washington, DC, market signifies a major addition to area eateries. With Hamilton’s Bar & Grill, Capitol Hill dwellers and workers – and those in the surrounding areas – now have the option of walking a short distance to enjoy a scrumptious menu prepared by head chef Jason Huber, formerly of Marriott Hotels. The menu features appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches and entrees, such as a grilled 12 ounce New York Strip steak, smothered in a mushroom brandy demi-glace, as well as desserts and children’s fare.

Hamilton’s Bar & Grill – at 233 2nd St. NW (2nd and Constitution Avenue) – presents two full bars and dining rooms and a much needed addition to Capitol Hill’s nightlife. The central location, abundant exposed brick and woodwork, black and white photographs, and unfussy feel offer Washingtonians an opportunity to socialize in a local setting without sacrificing their need for an upscale bar atmosphere.
