Halloween Parade & Pumpkin Sail October 25, 2009

Attention all trick-or-treaters, ghosts, and goblins! Bring a carved jack-o-lantern (5-10 pounds) by 5:00 pm and join in this annual event. Enjoy spooky storytelling, pumpkin crafts, eerie music, a guest appearance by Frankenstein, and more. March in the costume parade at 5:00 pm. Judges will award prizes for the best costumes and the best jack-o-lanterns. The event will conclude with a flotilla of candlelit pumpkins sailing across the Harlem Meer.
