HALLOWEEN ON VAN NESS OCTOBER 23, 2010

HALLOWEEN ON VAN NESS is an annual concert that features the First Congregational Church of Fresno's Choir and our resident Organist and Musical Director Scott Horton. The "Thrills and Chills Scary Music Concert" features music that is sure to bring a tingle to your spine. You will hear Halloween favorites such as Bach's "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor", "O Fortuna" from Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, and selections from "Phantom of the Opera","Ruddigore", "MacBeth", and many more! Also, highlighting the evening will be Gina Fazio and Jane Maldonado on two pianos performing Debussy, and John Morrice performing "The Devil's Trill" by Tartini on the violin.

The evening begins with appetizers and champagne in the Social Hall, which is decked out with the perfect Halloween decorations designed by Cathy Lopez. Peruse the silent auction items as you socialize with other guests before being whisked away to the spooky sanctuary for the concert. The evening concludes with a dessert buffet. This is truly an exciting event for everyone. Tickets are on sale now and sell quickly. Don't miss out!
