Halloween Nights October 28, 2010

The gates creep open the nights of Oct. 28-31 for a not-so-scary celebration. The Zoo will close at 4 p.m. and reopen at 6 p.m. for a not-so-scary Halloween celebration. Dance the Monster Mash, work off that sugar rush with Witch-ercize, visit the colorful, themed candy stations to trick-or-treat, ride the Haunted Carousel in reverse, see nursery-rhyme characters in the Lacerte Family Children's Zoo, visit the Giants of the Savanna not the jolly, green giants. See the Heckler Puppet Show and a new animal show, too.
