Halloween Boat Burning October 25, 2008

Easily one of the strangest Halloween traditions! Join thousands who will gather on the Museum's front lawn to witness the biggest bonfire on the South Shore! Enjoy apple cider, snacks, magic and..... a great big fire!! Loosely based on a Viking tradition of a nautical burial, an old, neglected wooden boat is chosen to become the "burn boat" for the event.
