"Our lives are defined as much by what we forget as what we remember," says playwright John Mighton.

Clara and Patrick meet in a nursing home for veterans and their families. They begin to fall in love. Are they rekindling an old flame?

As Clara and Patrick's middle-aged children watch their faltering parents, the older couple rediscovers beauty, love, and purpose in the twilight of their lives.

Autumn's splendour is leaves that soon fall. No one disdains this outburst of glory.
