Come Celebrate Black History Month at Ashkenaz with three phenomenal Bay Area originals: Lakay, Ras'in Bambou and El Wah Movement.
The 8-piece band, Lakay, featuring Mystic Man & Tea, is guaranteed to get you on your feet with a variety of styles including Kompa, Reggae, Zouk, Calypso and R&B.
Ras'in Bambou plays traditional Haitian rhythms from their native Tortuga in the north of the country. Their drums will back the spirit-stirring performance of African Diasporic fusion and folkloric Haitian dance by El Wah Movement Dance Company.
