Come enjoy a great night of Caribbean World music with one of the top Haitian performing artists around, Lakay & Mystic Man, while helping to support Amurt's relief efforts for Haiti. The night will include DJ Jah Yzer, of Jah Warrior Shelter, twice voted top Bay Area DJ by the San Francisco Guardian, and a dance performance by Haitian Dance Troupe RaRa Fusion.

Lakay & Mystic Man is one of the most popular bands/artists in the world-music genre throughout the Bay Area. A native of Haiti, Mystic Man has been an estiblished world musician in the Bay for about a decade and is the most well known Haitain musical artists on the West Coast.

From Africa to the Caribbean to Latin America, Lakay's music consists of many different styles such as Calypso, Reggae, Soca, Zouk, Kompa, Latin, Soukous, Highlife, Rara, and more.

During the first seven days following the disaster, AMURT and its sister organization AMURTEL assisted more than 15,000 residents, providing daily mobile medical clinics, hot soup kitchens and the distribution of dry food rations.
