Haiku D'Etat is a hip-hop group composed of three artists: Aceyalone & Mikah 9 from the Freestyle Fellowship and Abstract Rude of Abstract Tribe Unique (ATU). Apart from their numerous solo releases, the trio has released a few albums: offering a jazzy yet soulful mix of some live musical elements with the bold, socio-conscious lyrics, embodying the definition of the group's name - a poetry takeover. In an age where market saturation plagues the music industry, the public cries out for something new – something different. The stage has been set. It's time for a poetry takeover.
