Katayoun is a master instructor and professional performer of authentic Egyptian belly dance and the Persian dances of her Iranian heritage. She is especially known for her elegant and expressive dance style and dazzling technique!

Since 2000, Katayoun has presented dance performances and educational programs at numerous community events and professional appearances throughout the Northern Virginia region. Drawing from her extensive teaching experience and unique background, Katayoun uses a variety of methods for adapting instruction simultaneously to multiple skill levels, abilities and learning styles.
