Hove Lawns
Hove, England

I know we geeks and hackers rarely see the sunshine but it's summer and we are lucky enough to live in a beautiful city by the sea. Why not, I thought to myself, take advantage of such a fortuitous circumstance and arrange a beach BBQ.

If you are a hacker, either hardware or software, and fancy coming along to hang out, drink beer and eat burnt food with other's who share your interest, or just want to hang out for fun, come along.

So, lets meet at the Peace Statue on Hove Lawns at 8pm on Friday 10th July and cook up some sausages and drink copious amounts of booze. If you have any robots that you would let out into the open air, bring them along too. Perhaps we can have a race?

Please bring your own food and drink to cook on the BBQ

***breaking news - Mitch Altman may be coming to the BBQ. Anyone who is interested in hackerspaces, electronics or social implications of technology, if you want to meet Mitch and have missed him at other events in Brighton or London, this may be your chance***
