Are the ghosts of the East Bay's first settlers still lingering around? Did these Spanish conquerors leave their booty behind? Come to the Peralta Hacienda Historical House and find out -if you dare!

Hacienda Halloween is the perfect opportunity to bring the entire family in for some good scary fun. Walk down the halls of this old, creaky house, peek into its rooms and see who pops up to enliven the story of California's past. Get a treat or two and provided you're brave enough to make it to the kitchen, learn how people migrated west from all over the globe, bringing with them their native foods, and transformed California's landscape for thousands of years. Enjoy delicious autumn vegetables from the community gardens on site. As the sun sets on another day, meet the spirits who come out to play!

Ghosts at the Peralta House will be presented by Norman Gee of the Oakland Public Theater and the drama students of the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts.
