Fruitvale Ave
Oakland, California

(Berkeley, CA) September 25, 2010 – Stop by the Fruitvale BART station in Oakland on September 25, 2010 for a FREE Car Seat Inspection as part of our 2010 Early Childhood Safety Campaign from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, an event hosted by Habitot Children’s Museum and sponsored by State Farm Insurance!

Why have your car seat inspected? Research from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration shows that as many as 80% of all car seats are improperly installed. It's a significant factor in why automobile accidents are the number one killer of children under 14 years of age. The great difficulty in installing car seats has always been the limitless varieties among car seats, vehicle seats and seat belt design. Providing a comfortable fit for your child almost always requires a trained technician who can deal with the thousands of combinations.
