POISON CONTROL SAFETY EVENT
On Friday August 24th, from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm, Barbara Cheatham of the Alameda County Public Health Department Emergency Medical Services will provide poison control information and demonstrate how easily drugs and medications are mistaken for candy. More than 90 percent of these poisonings occur in the home with the majority of non-fatal poisonings occur in children younger than six years old. This FREE with admission event was generously sponsored by State Farm Insurance.
