Guy King is a young musician-young in years that is. After a short stay in Memphis and a stint in New Orleans, Guy headed north to Chicago in pursuit of greater things and a musical career, which is where he met Willie Kent. Willie took Guy in, hired him to play for him in his ace band: the Gents, and in time made him his right hand man and band leader.
