Guy Fawkes Experience November 6, 2011

Secret Island opens at 2.00pm on Saturday and Sunday, 5-6 November for two afternoons of fascinating events and activities telling the story of Guy Fawkes and his Gunpowder Plot, and concluding with a fabulous firework display.
See a light-hearted re-telling of the story of the plot in our theatre production, “The Ghost of Guy Fawkes” suitable for all ages and included in your admission price.
Meet soldiers and characters from the time, and learn about life and food of the 17th Century. Have a go at our craft activities for children including how to make a Guy Fawkes lantern.
As darkness falls join in our traditional fireworks party with a spectacular 15 minute firework display, live music, and fairground rides for the little ones.
Gates open at 2.00pm, last admissions 5.45pm. firework display of approximately 15 minutes duration 6.00-6.15. Site closes 7.00pm.
