Guns N’ Roses recently completed their European Tour with two consecutive sold out shows at London’s Wembley Arena. The tour, which started May 25th in Madrid, Spain, played to 700,000 plus people over 32 shows in 18 countries, making it one of the biggest tours of the year on the continent and in the UK. Guns N’ Roses have now embarked on the North American leg of their world tour and will include a stop at Ottawa’s Scotiabank Place on November 17.

There have been many changes in Guns N' Roses since the world last saw them in action and the expectancy for the band's new album and tour has fans all over the world hungry with anticipation. Previously, the combined efforts of albums like Appetite For Destruction, GN'R Lies, Use Your Illusion Vol. 1 & 2, The Spaghetti Incident?, and Live Era 87-93, have sold over 65 million units. Their 1987 debut album, Appetite For Destruction was the highest selling debut of all-time, a sales record which has since been broken, and has sold over 20 million copies. The 1991 simultaneous releases of Use Your Illusion Vol. 1 & 2 entered the Billboard charts at the number one and two positions. As video innovators, Guns N' Roses held the distinction of having MTV's top music video of all-time "November Rain." Although impressive, it's not the numerical accomplishments that give Guns N' Roses their importance, it's the music.
