This workshop addresses the social-emotional characteristics, biological traits, and environmental influences on children's behavior. Practical suggestions for helping children manage their behavior while supporting optimal development are offered. Topics include: effective communication skills, responding to conflict, environments that promote social competence, and challenging behavior.
