This is a walk that takes you on a journey through ancient Norman and Mercian landscapes past Offa's Dyke to the River Wye and Brockweir with its colourful past. Then you will journey back via Hewesfield Church with its circular grave yard and old yew, returning to St Briavels along on old carting track.

Distance: 9 miles (14.4 Km)
Grade: Moderate. Although there are some ups and downs and one steep climb most of the tracks are substantial and should be of no difficulty to the average walker.
