Hadnock Road
Monmouth, Wales NP25 3NG

Follow in the footsteps of poet William Wordsworth through Bargain Wood to enjoy intimate views of the Sylvan Wye. William Wordsworth first visited Tintern in 1793 and returned five years later, when he wrote the (rather literally entitled) poem "Lines composed a few miles above Tintern Abbey", saying that "no poem of mine was composed under circumstances more
pleasant for me to remember than this".

You will visit Cleddon falls and the Bread and Cheese viewpoint en route to the river bank at Llandogo. Return with a gradual ascent on this atmospheric circular walk.
