Guided Walk - A Journey Through Time June 5, 2010

This walk will take you back in time when coal was King. The scars of the Forest's industrial past give this walk a unique flavour. You will travel from Beechenhurst towards the historic Speech House, then head for the Cannop Valley before passing by the poignant monument to a band of lost miners at Bixslade. Quarries and remnants of an old railway route are never far away as you return to Beechenhurst Centre.
