Step back to the gilded age during guided tours of the 19-room mansion where Twain and his family lived from 1874-1891. Admission is by guided tour only. Allow a minimum of two hours to complete the tour of the house and to visit the Museum Center. Visitors should be able to negotiate three flights of stairs for the complete tour of the Mark Twain House. As the 21st century "new wing" to The Mark Twain House, the Museum center turns an already rich experience into a deeper understanding.
