Guided Tour of Bartow-Pell Mansion October 20, 2012

During regular public hours, docents will greet visitors and escort them on a one-hour tour of this richly crafted Greek Revival Mansion. The tour focuses on the life and times of the Bartow family and those who lived and worked on the family estate and will answer such questions as: Who were the Bartows? What were their connections to the early history of the Pelham Bay Region? Why did they settle in this area? What was the area like around 1850?
