St Peter Port
Guernsey, Channel Islands GY1 2LL

Guernsey celebrates a week of Armed Forces awareness and this is our second year. The week starts with the raising of the AFD flag on our mast by the harbour at 10:00. We then have a parade at 10:40, it was the harbour last year (our first attempt) where we presented 150 Veterans badges, but this year, because of the inclement weather, we held it in the sports hall of our main college, and presented a further 50 badges.
During the course of the week there are radio slots where the old and bold tell their stories. Then Saturday 30th June we hold a Vin d'Honneur at Castle Cornet, 11:00 'til 12:30, in the company of our Bailiff, Mr Richard Collas, which this year is being sponsored by Lagan, the construction firm who are sorting out our airport.
