Guatemala, Belize and Honduras: A Natural and Cultural History Tour Course/Class April 11, 2011

Escape the tourist trail and experience the beauty, mystery and wonders of Meso and Central America. This tour offers a glimpse of the best experience that these countries have to offer the indigenous culture of Mesoamerica and the mix that is Belize; see spectacular Mayan ruins; shop in village markets and Colonial cities; kayak down jungle streams and go deep beneath the ground surface exploring some of thousands of caves in this region; walk through verdant jungles and see the rainforest wildlife at close range toucans, macaws, hummingbirds, howler monkeys and, if we are extremely lucky, see the largest American cat, the jaguar.
