Group Guitar Classes for Adults June 14, 2009

Summer session enrolling now!

Session begins Sunday, June 14 and runs through July 26. No class Sunday, July 5.

Group classes are a great way to get started or to refresh knowledge lost over time. Information is presented in a relaxed and positive way to maximize the learning experience and the fun! Classes run six-weeks and are 75 minutes each lesson. Tuition includes class and course materials.

Registration due by June 7.

Course offerings:
Absolute Beginners
This is the perfect class for those picking up the guitar for the first time or with very little previous experience. Students will learn open chords, simple strumming and basic music notation using songs from a variety of musical genres. No previous experience necessary.
When: 12:00 - 1:15 p.m., Sundays
Ages: 16 - adult

Intermediate Players
This class picks up where the beginner class left off. Students learn more open chords, more intricate strumming, simple finger picking, and are introduced to modified barre chords. Some previous experience and knowledge of open chords and rhythm required.
When: 2:00 - 3:15 p.m., Sundays
