High Noon Saloon
July 16, 12:00 Noon!
Time for a summertime Sunday filled with music and fun for the kids! The High Noon Saloon is THEE place for fun on July 16 as two local acts dish out rock, traditional kiddie tunes, and storytelling that both young 'uns and their parents (and aunts & uncles and pals and cousins....) will dig.
Kicking off the day will be the debut of Gripewater, Madison's only band of rock and roll parents kicking out songs kiddie-style. Kids love the rock (it's true) and rock is fun, so Gripewater brings it all together with both covers and lively originals of kid-friendly tunes played on electric guitars. Beatles! Tunes of loss of the binky! They Might Be Giants! Helping your grown-ups! It's all there. The three mamas and three papas include folks from MaeRae, Killdozer, and Aaron Scholz.

David Landau is no stranger to the kid scene. Well known as a member of the Cork & Bottle String Band, Landau is a former school teacher who now performs for kids at schools and librairies. His programs are educational, motivating, and just a blast. He has packed the High Noon before and is bound to bring in devoted fans again.
