Saturday 23rd June.
Armed Forces Day Flags will be raised in the Borough.
0900. Stalls and Marquees with Military Organisations and Charities will set up in Cleethorpes Pier Gardens by approx 0900 - other Military type Traders will set up between Brighton Slipway and Cleethorpes Leisure Centre. A variety of military vehicles will be parked in prominent positions in the resort. There will be an abundance of AFD flags and military bunting promoting all 3 services displayed throughout the resort. Throughout the morning there will be ‘inclusive’ entertainment and events for the children and youths provided by the local Combined Cadet Force, the two local Air Training Corps Squadrons, and the local Army cadet Force. There will also be 1940’s type entertainment along various parts of the resort.

1330 The parade will ‘form up’ and will comprise of Serving Members, Veterans Associations, Cadet Services and Military Vehicles with standards and bands.
1400 Parade will march off – route will be through the Main Shopping area at Cleethorpes through Cleethorpes Market Place and along the Seafront (Alexandra Road) past the saluting dais where local high profile dignitaries with senior military officers, will take the ‘salute’. The parade will then march to the Strike Wing Memorial.
1440 Remembrance and Wreath laying service at approx
1505 Flypast salute by a Spitfire of the BBMF, this will be followed by a display by the Blades Aerobatic Team (approx 20 minutes). These displays will be followed by a full aerobatic display by the Vulcan.(Subject to availability/airworthiness & Weather)
1600 Bands will perform followed by ‘social gatherings’ and networking opportunities at the RNA, RAF Association Clubs, Cleethorpes Town Hall – all in close proximity to display areas.
Sunday 24th June

AM. The day will start with all Stalls and Marquees of Military Organisations and Charities moving from the Pier Gardens to outside the prestigious Meridian Park Arena. There will be Trade stands etc located in similar areas. – Priority is given to service charities/SPVA/Wings appear/RNA/RBL and other official organisations to continue to promote awareness.

Throughout the day there will be re-enactments i.e. A simulated raid on the Light Railway, with various educational activities and events for the children and youths, these will carry on through the day leading up to the Military Tattoo - Gates open at approx 1900 hours.

2000 The 1st ever North East Lincolnshire Military Tattoo will commence with the event being opened by a Military Band and Parade of Military Associations Standards from all Towns and villages in the Lincolnshire Area.

This will be followed by “Parachuting in to the Arena “by the RAF Falcons Display Team, then to follow a Navy Field Gun Run. A full programme of events and participants is to be confirmed (some are confirmed/others in application awaiting approval).
It is intended that displays include the Royal Signals White Helmets Motorcycle Display Team and other military action programmes with interaction by Military Bands,
Application has been made for attendance by the RAF Queens Colour Squadron Marching Display Team. Subject to agreement and confirmation. These performances will be interspersed with music for the audience involvement (sing along type).

The lead-up to the ‘Finale’ would include massed bands parade and appearance by all the performers.

21.40 A short drumhead service and the lowering of the AFD Flag.

2200 hours there will be a 20 minute firework spectacular
