Grimsby & Cleethorpes Armed Forces Day June 26, 2010

A whole host of events has been planned around the country for the day itself and the weeks leading up to it, including Grimsby & Cleethorpes on Sat 26th June 2009. Bill McCann, Chairman of the Royal Air Forces Association is organising a Parade, Flypast, and static Displays. The Parade is open to serving and those who have served and the Junior Services. This will be a very special day for Grimsby and Cleethorpes, and all are invited to come and watch the event. The Parade will form up at St Peters Junior School , at 13.30, at 2pm will march down St. Peter’s Ave, through the Market Place and then down Alexandra Road to the Strike Wing Memorial Next to Ross Castle. There will then be a service at the Strike Wing Memorial. The Static Displays etc will be in the Pier Gardens. Followed by Receptions at Cleethorpes Town Hall, the RAF Association Club and the Royal Naval Association Club.
