As Spring begins to bloom we are once again
gathering to support each other for release and healing, opening up space
internally to meet the upcoming seasons of warmth and growth. This retreat is
for those who feel the heaviness of personal loss as well as those who feel the
suffering of the earth and others our troubled world. There are very few places in this culture where
we can bring our strong emotions, our deep grief and anger. Many of us yearn to unburden ourselves in a
loving supportive situation. Kendra Thornbury and Therese Charvet have offered
this retreat twice a year for several years and know that it is a powerful
healing experience for those who attend. This time we are welcoming Laurence Cole as
part of the facilitation team in hopes of encouraging more men to attend.
Overnight accommodations: for those who
live more than a half hour away (Seattle, farther than Poulsbo etc) there are
several options for overnight sleeping ranging from camping here to a fancy room at the B &B within walking distance (Holly Lane
Gardens). Indicate your lodging needs on the registration form.
Suggested
donation is $200 for the retreat and 4 meals. If this amount is a hardship for
you, please offer what you can afford. We require a minimum of $75. Lodging for those who need it will be extra. A $$ deposit is requested to confirm your
commitment and help you hold to it when you begin to waver (which,
understandably, most people do). Please register on-line here in any case. You can pay a deposit ($100 if possible) via Pay Pal when you register or mail it to Sacred Groves (info about this option is at the very bottom of the registration page). A deposit (via Pay Pal or check in the mail) is required to confirm your intention to participate; it will help you hold-firm in your commitment to attend.
