Grief Recovery Outreach Program September 5, 2012

The Center for Grief Recovery offers an 8-week outreach program conducted by Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, Michael Misenheimer, MA. The program will be held at The Peace Cottage located at 1510 Old Hickory Blvd., Brentwood (37027). There is a lunch-time program from 11:30am-1:00pm and an evening program from 6:30-8:00pm starting on Wednesday, Sept 5th. The cost of the 8-week program is $395 per participant (fee covers the cost of the book and course materials). Pre-registration is required by calling 615-469-0330. Partial scholarships and payment plans are available.

One of the least acknowledged and least addressed concerns in our society is grief; the normal and natural reaction to loss. The Grief Recovery Outreach Program is designed to guide those who wish to resolve their loss issues and move beyond their grief to a richer quality of life. ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Michael Misenheimer is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist trained and certified by the Grief Recovery Institute in Sherman Oaks, CA. He has touched and changed the lives of many through his peacemaking work. He is dedicated to assisting people in resolving and healing conflicts. Many clients - whether coaching or mediation - have reported increased emotional and spiritual well-being, deeper inner peace and a renewed passion for life after working with Michael. Michael holds a BA in Psychology. He has also completed his coursework for an MA in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution & Peacebuilding. His PhD in Philosophy with an emphasis in Holistic Life Coaching is currently pending approval. Michael is also a 3rd year law student and upon graduation, he hopes to combine his love for coaching and law to practice law from a more holistic perspective. Michael is a Certified General Civil Mediator, Certified General Domestic (Divorce) Mediator, Certified Professional Coach, Certified Paralegal and Certified Grief Recovery Specialist.
