Greyhound Garden Party April 16, 2011

To celebrate Adopt-A-Greyhound Month and National Garden Month, retired racing Greyhounds extend an invitation to both canines and humans to join them in their Celebration for April at the George Morlan Design Center, 2222 NW Raleigh St., Portland, OR 97210 from 6 to 9 pm. The Greyhound Garden Party will also recognize all service canines in attendance, including Greyhound blood donors who provide the gift of life to their canine friends.

Admission is $25 per person. Yappitizers and good clean water will be available for canines while wine, beer, softdrinks and appetizers as well as a chocolate fountain will be available for human attendees. Activities will include trick contests, canine bobbing for hotdogs, longest and shortest tail contests, information for humans about garden taboos for pets, silent auction and raffle.

This is a fundraiser for Greyhound Pet Adoption Northwest whose mission is to find responsible loving homes for retired racing Greyhounds.
